A garden is a site of your own, made out of the drops you have already written. You do not move anything into it and you do not write into it — it is a window, and you decide its shape.

You have one from the moment you sign up, at your handle followed by sizuq.com. It is also reachable at sizuq.com followed by your handle, which is useful when you want a link that stays on the main site.

You can have several gardens, each with its own address, look and selection of writing. A second one might hold only your writing on a single subject, or be the same writing presented in another language.

The first garden is special in one way only: its address always matches your handle, so renaming one renames the other. The rest can be named freely, from the same pool of names handles come from.

A garden is read-only in the sense that matters to you as its owner: Compose, Drafts, Settings and everything else that changes something live on sizuq.com. Visiting those addresses on a garden simply sends you back to the main site.

This is why a garden never shows the sizuq navigation. It has its own quiet header and a menu of whatever you put there, and nothing of the application leaks into it.

A garden can be set to redirect instead of showing anything. Anyone arriving is sent to your main garden. It is a way to hold an address — an old name, a common misspelling — without maintaining a second site behind it.
