Garden layouts
The five shapes a garden can take, how to narrow which drops it shows, and what goes at the top of the page.
The five layouts

Two ways to draw the same thing
Three of the layouts have a second setting for how they are drawn. Same writing, same selection, different arrangement.

| Articles | Cards — an even grid. Editorial — a magazine spread with one piece given weight. |
| Drops stream | Feed — cards in sequence. Timeline — dated, with the year marking its own passage. |
| Gallery | Grid — even squares. Masonry — images at their own heights. |
Narrowing a garden by tag
By default a garden shows everything of yours that fits its layout. Content tags narrow it: name one or more tags and only drops carrying at least one of them appear.
This is what makes a second garden about a single subject possible without splitting your writing in two. The same drop can surface in several gardens, or in none, purely by which tags it carries.

Above the listing you can pin things, and you can decide what the hero is.
- Pinned drops sit at the very top, in an order you set, whatever the layout is doing below them.
- Featured drops fill the hero row of an articles garden. How many appear at once depends on your plan.
- The hero itself can be left to the layout, replaced with one full-width cover image, or removed so the listing starts immediately.
