Resonance, friends and whispers

A reader cannot rate a drop, score it, or applaud it. What they can do is say which way it landed. There are five ways, and they are not ranked against each other.

A reader may leave more than one, and take them back. As the author you never see a total — you see which kinds were left, and you can open the drop to see who left them.

Which of the five appear under your drops is your decision, not the reader's. All five are offered by default; you can narrow them from your profile settings.

Adding someone as a friend puts their drops in your Observatory. That is the whole of it. It is one-directional and quiet: they are not asked to add you back, and there is no list of who has added whom.

• Add someone from their profile page on sizuq.com.
• Your Observatory then shows their drops alongside your own, newest first, with no algorithm in between.
• Removing them is the same button again. Nothing is announced either way.

A whisper is how you learn something echoed back. Someone resonated with a drop, or added you as a friend. That is the entire vocabulary of the page.

Whispers collapse rather than accumulate. Several resonances on the same drop from the same person are one whisper, not several, and the page never tells you how many of anything there are — only that something happened. The dot beside Whispers in the navigation says the same thing, and says nothing more.
