Constellation

The Observatory is where you read other people. Constellation is where you read yourself. Nobody else can see it, and nothing in it is shared, ranked or compared.

It opens with whatever you were last writing, so an unfinished thought is one click from where you left it.

Your tags are drawn as a field of stars. A theme you return to often burns brighter than one you touched once. It is a picture of your attention, not a leaderboard — the brightness is relative only to your own other themes.

Below it, Seasons lays your writing out by month and year, so a quiet winter and a crowded spring are visible at a glance. Selecting either a theme or a season narrows the archive underneath.

sizuq shows no audience figures anywhere: no view counts, no resonance totals, no tally of who is reading you. Constellation is the exception, and only in a narrow sense — Show numbers reveals how many drops sit behind each theme and each season.

These are counts of your own writing, not of anyone's attention to it. They are off until you ask for them, and the preference is remembered in this browser rather than on your account, so it never follows you onto a device where you did not want it.

A collection is a sequence you gather by hand from your own drops — a series meant to be read in order, or the pieces of a longer argument that arrived separately.

1. Open Collections from Constellation and give a new one a title.
2. Add a description if the sequence needs one.
3. Add drops to it and arrange them in the order they should be read.

Collections are yours, like the rest of Constellation. They are a way of finding your own writing again, not a way of presenting it — that is what a garden is for.
